Ingredients

* 225g (8oz) broccoli
    * 200g (7 oz) cauliflower
    * 25g (1oz) butter
    * 25g (1oz) flour
    * 300ml (½ pint) milk
    * 75g (3 oz) bread crumbs
    * 50g (2oz) Cheddar cheese, grated
    * Salt and pepper
    * Pinch of nutmeg

Method

   1st Parboiling broccoli and cauliflower.
   2nd To melt the white sauce, butter, stir in the flour and milk. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
   3rd Mix the vegetables with the sauce, top with bread crumbs and cheese. Bake at 180 ° C (350 ° F, gas mark 4) for 20 minutes.
