* 2 x 400g (14oz) cans chickpeas, drained
    * 200g hazelnuts, chopped
    * 2 onions, grated
    * 4 carrots, grated
    * 4tbsp tomato paste
    * 2 medium eggs, beaten
    * Dried breadcrumbs, for coating


   1st Mash the chickpeas in a large bowl. Stir in the eggs, onions, carrots, tomato puree and eggs. Stir and season to taste.
   2nd Divide the mixture into 8 and shape each portion into a burger. Dip to coat in the breadcrumbs. Chill for one hour or overnight.
   3rd Grill the burgers over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side until they are brown. Serve burgers in buns with salsa and salad.
