Ingredients

* 2 large, very green bananas, peeled and mashed
    * 25 g onion, finely chopped
    * 1 clove garlic (optional), ground
    * A pinch of dry oregano
    * A pinch of dried thyme
    * A pinch of salt and pepper
    * 1 free-range eggs, beaten
    * Oil for frying, as needed
    * 1 packet vegetarian Philadelphia-style soft cheese
    * 2-3 tablespoons milk
    * Handful of fresh chives, chopped

Method

   1st Take the cheese and chives increased by mixing the soft cheese with a little milk and fresh chives, to a thick pouring consistency.
   2nd Mix the remaining ingredients together to the scones.
   3rd Heat the oil, then drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the pan and fry until set.
   4th Serve piping with lashings of cream cheese and chives topping hot.
