Ingredients

* 300g wholemeal penne or fusilli
    * 50g butter
    * 50g wholemeal flour
    * 568ml low fat milk
    * 100g cheddar cheese, grated
    * 75g wholemeal breadcrumbs

Method

   1st Cook pasta according to instructions can pack, drain and return to the pan.
   2nd Melt the butter in the meantime give in a small saucepan and stir in the flour, cook for 1 minute. Slowly stir in milk. Bring to a boil, stirring, until thickened and stir until melted into the cheese to taste. Stir in the pasta and transfer onto a baking dish.
   3rd Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and place under a preheated grill until golden brown.
   4th Serve with a fresh crisp green salad.

Top Tip: Roast off 250g cherry tomatoes drizzled with olive oil and stir for 15 minutes in the pasta with cheese sauce.www.wholegraingoodness.com
