Ingredients

* 100g (4 oz) flour
    * 1 egg
    * 150ml (¼ pt) milk
    * 1-2 teaspoons mustard
    * Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
    * 2 large onions Spanish
    * Vegetable oil

Method

   1st The flour in a large bowl. Take a good break in the middle and the egg into it. Beat lightly then gradually pour in the milk.
   2nd Next to milk and eggs that make all the flour into a smooth dough. Whisk in the mustard and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
   3rd Spanish Peel onions and cut into thick slices. Separate slices into rings. Dip each ring in batter and shallow in hot vegetable oil for 1-2 minutes, turning once, until golden brown. Drain and serve with salsa dip.
